bitcoind – Umbrel caught when utilizing symbolic hyperlinks to bitcoin blockchain information

I attempted to make Umbrel run on Ubuntu 20.04 with the bitcoin core beeing preinstalled and synced. I made it run on two harddrives. First one is an SSD the place the system runs on and second one is an HDD the place I retailer blockchain information.

Bitcoind is absolutely synced and to be able to pace it up I used symbolic hyperlinks and put the “chainstate” and “indexes” directories on the SSD.

In my Umbrel-directory I changed the “blocks”, “chainstate” and “indexes” folders by symbolic hyperlinks once more so as hold the default configurations in bitcoin.config of Umbrel.

Umbrel begins with out errors however when I attempt to login it will get caught within the preliminary loading display screen. So I made a decision to delete the hyperlinks within the “~/umbrel/bitcoin/” folder to verify if these symbolic hyperlinks are the issue. After that Umbrel created the folders by itself and all the things labored.

So lengthy story quick: does anyone have a clue if/why symbolic hyperlinks don’t work? Or is it the configuration with two harddrives? Or is it perhaps having two symbolic hyperlinks in a sequence?

Thanks prematurely!
