💼 Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Underwriting corporate finance business and managing the assigned-area portfolio
- Managing end-to-end credit approval for the designated region
- Underwriting cases and presenting proposals to senior management
- Reviewing credit memos and taking approval/decline decisions
- Authorizing credit-policy deviations
- Approving disbursement requests after documentation compliance
- Monitoring PDD and documentation requirements
- Coordinating with FI, Legal and Technical vendors
- Working with the recoveries team and generating business insights
- Leading credit approvers to maintain portfolio quality
- Monitoring delinquencies and credit-risk indicators
- Developing and implementing credit programs
- Training and coaching the credit team
- Ensuring proper credit analysis, customer screening, underwriting and sanctioning.
